The last of the great Vintage Champagnes. R.D. meaning recently disgorged is an incredibly fresh vintage Champagne due to the fact it is released only a few months after disgorgement. The 2008 vintage of Bollinger R.D. displays rich and bold notes of honey, stewed apricots and brioche on the nose which leads pleasantly into a rich citrus forward mouthfeel with notes of sweet peaches, hazelnuts and a subtle salinity.

We suggest pairing Bollinger R.D. 2008 Vintage Champagne with any heavily matured cheese such as Gruyer or to enhance the Hazelnut notes within the Champagne any dish which is infused with Hazelnuts.
