Bollinger La Cote Aux Enfants 2013 Champagne
La Cote aux Enfants, meaning "The Children's Hillside," is a prestigious vineyard in Ay where Pinot Noir reigns supreme. This small, south sloping vineyard was established by Jacques Bollinger nearly 100 years ago houses some of their house’s oldest vines. This historic plot of land has previously only been used to produce Bollinger’s only still wine, until now.
Bollinger La Cote aux Enfants 2013 is a single vineyard Champagne produced in exceptionally limited quantities and showcases Bollinger’s commitment to preserve the terroir that makes this Champagne so remarkable.
Composed of 100% Grand Cru Pinot Noir and cellar aged for 7 years on the lees. Bollinger La Cote aux Enfants 2013 has a delightful bouquet of red and dark fruits—cherries, raspberries, and blackcurrants - intertwined with subtle floral notes and a hint of spice, balanced by vibrant acidity. There's a beautiful tension between power and elegance, a hallmark of La Cote aux Enfants.
