An exceptional expression of Moet & Chandon's winemaking expertise, Collection Imperiale Creation No. 1 is the first Brut Nature Champagne created by the house. Designed to celebrate its 280th anniversary, this prestige cuvee brings together seven remarkable vintages, each matured using different techniques to build layers of freshness, maturity and complexity.

The blend combines 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Meunier. The component wines were matured in stainless steel or oak, while the 2004 vintage underwent extended bottle ageing on its lees before being incorporated into the final blend. The result is a Champagne that combines youthful energy with mature, savoury complexity.

• The nose gradually reveals liquorice, mocha, toast, fresh hazelnut, vanilla, dried fig and Mirabelle plum.
• The palate is generous and creamy, with concentrated fruit, delicate bubbles and an intriguing interplay between freshness and subtle bitterness.
