Vega Sicilia Pintia

This bold Spanish red is made from 100% Tinta de Toro, a local clone of Tempranillo, grown in the rugged Toro region. The wine is aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak, delivering a rich, concentrated style with dark fruit and spice. Its full-bodied character makes it a natural match for robust dishes.

Produced by Vega Sicilia, Spain’s most prestigious winery, Pintia is crafted at a dedicated facility in San Roman de Hornija. The vineyards sit at 700m altitude on stony, alluvial soils along the Duero River. With low vine density and extreme climate conditions, the fruit develops intensity and structure. The winemaking process includes cold maceration and malolactic fermentation in wood, preserving purity and depth.
