The Chocolate Block Red Wine
This bold red blend is crafted in South Africa’s Swartland region, using fruit from Porseleinberg and Goldmine vineyards. The wine is Syrah-led, supported by Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Viognier. Fermented with whole berries and aged for up to 18 months in mostly used French oak, it’s known for its plush texture and layered complexity.
Produced by Boekenhoutskloof, one of South Africa’s most respected wineries, The Chocolate Block is a cult favourite with limited production. Its name reflects the wine’s rich, velvety character and subtle cocoa notes, not added flavouring.
