The Silent Noise winemaker Charlie, is not just a Winemaker, he is a self-proclaimed Noisemaker. Growing up at the Kangarilla Road winery with vineyards all around, Charlie was around a busy, noisy winery from a young age. Learning to appreciate the silence after bottling. Waiting in anticipation of what noise these wines will create on the nose and palate when opened.

• Harvest: Cloudy But Fine Chardonnay is from A grade fruit from low-yielding vineyards in Lenswood, Adelaide Hills
• Processing: The juice undergoes several hours pre-fermentation maceration
• Winemaking: Fermentation is in 100% new French oak barrels
• Maturation: The wine is left on the lees, without sulphites, for 9 months
• Bottling: Bottling is unfiltered because it tastes so delicious before this stage and Charlie did not want the wine to lose its character

Tasting notes: Candied notes like honeydew melon and apricot. Balancing the zing of fresh lemon and some orange blossom and geranium florals. Enjoy these same notes on the palate, which has a lovely texture to it thanks to the wine being unfiltered. A dry wine, but with the added bonus of a sweet treat in a finish that is reminiscent of Danish pastries.
