Sassicaia is one of Italy’s most iconic Bordeaux-style blends, produced by Tenuta San Guido in Bolgheri, Tuscany. Crafted from approximately 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, it is widely regarded as the benchmark for “Super Tuscan” wines. The 2018 vintage marks the 50th anniversary of Sassicaia, celebrating its evolution from a once-unconventional wine to a global reference for elegance and structure.
