Louis Latour Meursault 2023
A classic white Burgundy made from Chardonnay in the Côte de Beaune. The vineyards benefit from southeast-facing slopes and stony marl soils that contribute freshness and finesse.
The wine is fermented traditionally in French oak barrels before complete malolactic fermentation. It is then aged for 8 to 10 months, with around 15% new oak used during maturation.
- The nose combines lemon, honeysuckle and vanilla with ripe orchard fruit and subtle floral notes.
- The palate is broad and creamy, showing fresh almond, citrus and gentle oak spice.
- A mineral finish brings freshness and definition to the wine's generous texture.
This is an excellent match for grilled fish, shellfish, creamy chicken dishes and mature cheeses.
