Louis Latour Fleurie 2024
An elegant Gamay from one of Beaujolais' ten Cru appellations. The vineyards combine pink granite, schist and sandy soils with a favourable local microclimate.The grapes are hand harvested and fermented traditionally in open vats, using whole bunches. The wine then spends 8 to 10 months ageing in stainless steel, preserving its freshness and aromatic character.
- Floral aromas lead into bright berry fruit, with dried herbs and white pepper.
- The palate is smooth and supple, with juicy red fruit and fresh acidity.
- Fine, fresh tannins provide structure without overwhelming the wine's delicate character.
This Fleurie works particularly well with charcuterie, roast pork, poultry and lighter beef dishes.
