Kumeu River has been producing world-class Chardonnay for decades, earning a reputation for Burgundian-inspired wines. Fruit for this wine is sourced from six estate vineyards in the Kumeu region, selected for exceptional quality.
Hand-harvested grapes are whole-bunch pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, including 20% new oak. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and matures for 11 months, creating a layered, rich style.
