Enjoy this Kopke port with an almond, lemon and poppy seed cake, or milk and hazelnut chocolate Nocciolato with basil ice cream. Wonderful just on its own or after a meal. To assure its full quality and flavour, it should be stored in the bottle for as little time as possible, then it should be drunk soon after purchase. Best served at a temperature between 8 and 10°C.
Kopke white Colheita port 2008 was International Wine Challenge 2018 Gold Winner and Decanter World Wine Awards 2018 - Platinum Winner.
Established in 1638 by Christiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke. They came to Portugal as representatives of the Hanseatic League. The House of Kopke is the eldest Porto wine export firm.
In June 2006, the Sogevinus Group extends its influence throughout the port wine sector through the acquisition of C. N. Kopke. Nowadays Kopke is the oldest Porto wine brand and assumes the leadership in the ‘Porto Colheita’ category.
Befitting their status as the oldest port house, their bottles are easily recognisable by their traditional and hand-stencilled style.
