Produced by Jean Bouchard in Milly-Lamartine, in the Maconnais region of Burgundy, France, this white wine comes from vineyards on the western slopes of the area. Jean Bouchard has a history of almost 200 years and has been owned by the Bichot family since 1955.
Made from Chardonnay, the wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation and ageing on fine lees for 8 to 9 months. Around 80% is matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, while the remaining 20% ages in oak barrels, adding texture and complexity.
