Gaja Ca'Marcanda Promis
Gaja Ca'Marcanda Promis is a blend of merlot, syrah and sangiovese from vineyards in Bolgheri and neighbouring Bibbona. Growing the vines on terre brune dark soils rich in limestone and clay. The different grape varieties are vinified separately, with 12 months ageing in oak, prior to blending. The wine spending several months to rest in bottles to allow the blend to harmonise before release.
- A fresh and elegant red, with notes of red and black fruits. Namely raspberry, wild strawberry, mulberry and dried flowers
- The wine has a firm structure and finishes with a smoky and spicy character
A perfect match for a variety of grilled meats and game, tomato-based pasta dishes, and rich casseroles and stews.
