Crafted from Chardonnay vines averaging over 40 years of age, Domaine de la Motte Vieilles Vignes Chablis 2023 Magnum is a richer, more concentrated expression of classic Chablis. Sourced from low-yielding vineyards surrounding the village of Beine on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils, this old-vine cuvée offers exceptional depth while retaining the vibrant minerality and freshness that define the appellation. Presented in an impressive 150cl Magnum, it is ideal for entertaining, gifting and extended bottle ageing.

The 2023 vintage combines ripe orchard fruit with classic chalky minerality and subtle oak influence. A small proportion of the wine is fermented and matured in large 600-litre oak barrels, adding texture and complexity without overshadowing the purity of the fruit. The result is a fuller-bodied Chablis with remarkable balance, elegance and ageing potential.

• The nose offers aromas of baked apple, lemon zest, white peach, flint and delicate white flowers with subtle earthy, chalky notes.
• The palate is generous and textured, revealing ripe orchard fruit, citrus, creamy minerality and a gentle touch of oak supported by crisp acidity.
