Produced only in exceptional vintages, this Pouilly-Fume is made from 100% sauvignon blanc grown on the estate’s finest plots. The Baron de L cuvée is crafted from free-run juice and matured on lees for up to 6 months, adding depth and longevity. Grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards surrounding Château du Nozet, a historic estate owned by the Lafond and Ladoucette families since 1787.
Each parcel is vinified separately, then blended to create a wine of remarkable finesse and ageing potential. This is one of the Loire Valley’s most elegant expressions of Sauvignon Blanc. It is known for its purity, mineral complexity and ability to age for over a decade.
