This Swartland field blend combines Chenin Blanc with eight Rhône-inspired varieties, sourced from old bush vines across diverse soils. The producer, David & Nadia, champions organic farming and minimal intervention.
Grapes are whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented, then matured for 11 months in old French oak, with select parcels aged in concrete and large foudres for added nuance. Skin contact on Semillon and Colombar enhances texture and aromatic depth.
