This full-bodied red wine from Portugal’s Bairrada region blends Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. It shows ripe black fruit, firm tannins and a long, layered finish. Aged in French oak for up to 30 months, followed by 6 years in bottle, it’s structured and age-worthy.
The vineyards are dry-farmed and planted at high density on clay-limestone soils, protected by the Caramulo and Bussaco Hills. Winemaking uses gravity flow and extended maceration. The estate is known for producing wines with depth, precision and long ageing potential.
