Catena Zapata is a benchmark high-altitude producer in Mendoza, Argentina, led by the pioneering Catena family for over four generations. The Adrianna Vineyard sits at 1,450 metres in Gualtallary, where limestone soils and fossilised riverbed deposits shape the wine’s character.

White Bones Chardonnay comes from select rows in Block 1, chosen for their calcareous composition and natural drainage. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with wild yeasts in French oak barrels to preserve purity and add complexity. Partial malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees enhance texture while retaining the wine’s vivid acidity and mineral backbone.
