This wine is crafted in Évora, named after the Foral (decree) for winemaking granted by King Manuel I in 1501. Produced from Assario grapes grown on granitic soils, it reflects the traditional character of Alentejo wines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel to preserve fruit expression, followed by twelve months on lees with battonage for added depth.
