Ca dei Frati is one of Lugana’s most respected producers, with vineyards near Lake Garda in northern Italy. The wine is made from Turbiana, a local grape also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, grown on glacial soils. These soils help moderate vine vigour and retain freshness in the fruit.
The Dal Cero family have cultivated vines here since 1939 and helped establish the Lugana DOC. Their wines are known for purity and precision, with fruit picked by hand and fermented in steel. Lees ageing adds depth and a subtle flinty character.
