This rich and complex red wine is crafted by Domaine Boutinot in the southern Rhone, from hillside vineyards in the cru-classified appellation of Cairanne. The vines—mainly Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Carignan—are planted on limestone and clay terraces, benefiting from all-day sun and cooling Mistral winds. Winemaking is slow and traditional, with natural yeasts and gentle extraction.
The wine is matured for 22 months in a mix of old French oak barrels and demi-muids, allowing the fruit to shine while adding subtle spice and structure.
