Tenuta Fertuna Droppello
This unique white wine is made from 100 % Sangiovese grapes from Tenuta Fertuna, in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma. The estate has been organically certified since 2020, and practises water-reuse, natural pest control and soil conservation.
The grapes are softly pressed and fermented at low temperature, then aged for 12 months on fine lees before six months in new Allier tonneaux, with bâtonnage to build depth.
- On the nose, Tenuta Fertuna Droppello delivers floral and citrus-fruit aromas with mineral undertones.
- On the palate it is fresh and mineral, supported by crisp acidity and a structure enhanced by gentle vanilla and caramel.
- The finish is softly persistent, with a delicate toasted note and subtle savoury richness.
Pairs beautifully with grilled white meat, cooked fish appetizers or ratatouille of seasonal vegetables.
