Greywacke was founded in 2009 by Kevin Judd, the winemaker who helped establish Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc on the world stage. Fruit is sourced from prime vineyards in the Wairau Plains and Southern Valleys, grown in soils rich with greywacke river stones.
Harvested during cool nights, the juice undergoes slow fermentation in stainless steel, with a portion using indigenous yeast for added complexity. The result is a benchmark Marlborough white wine combining vibrant aromatics with layered texture.
