Trastullo Primitivo 2021 is a Ripasso style whereby the grapes are picked in two separate harvests. The wine from the first harvest goes through a second fermentation with the grape skins from the second, later harvest to give the wine extra body, a more velvety texture, and riper fruit flavours.
Ageing the final blend in barrel for 3-6 months to harmonise and soften the wine and add extra spicy complexity.
