This Champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from four Grand Cru villages in the Cote des Blancs. These are Avize, Chouilly, Cramant and Mesnil-sur-Oger. Billecart-Salmon, founded in 1818, is a family-run house based in Mareuil-sur-Ay, known for its precision and elegance.
The wine is vinified in stainless steel with 20–50% reserve wines and aged on lees for four to five years. It shows the mineral tension and finesse typical of chalk-rich soils. The cuvee is a blend of two vintages and is crafted to highlight the purity and structure of Chardonnay.
