Pommery Brut Royal Champagne

Back in 1874, Madame Pommery changed the course of Champagne history by creating the first commercially successful Brut Champagne. Moving away from the sweet, dessert-style wines of the time, she introduced the dry style that has since become the benchmark for Champagne around the world.

For Brut Royal, Pommery brings together fruit from some of Champagne's most respected growing areas, including the chalk-rich vineyards of the Cote des Blancs and the prestigious slopes of the Montagne de Reims.

Every bottle is built around three guiding principles, freshness, vivacity and finesse. Rather than producing an overly rich or heavily toasty Champagne, Pommery has long championed elegance and purity of fruit. The result is a cuvee that feels bright, refined and wonderfully balanced from the first sip to the last.

• The nose is fresh and expressive,  with bright citrus aromas, delicate white flowers and hints of ripe red berries. As the wine opens in the glass, subtle notes of brioche begin to emerge, adding warmth and complexity without overshadowing the fresh fruit.
• The palate is elegant and beautifully balanced, with refined flavours of pear, white peach and crisp citrus sitting alongside delicate red fruits. A gentle minerality runs through the wine, while soft brioche notes add texture and depth, creating a wonderfully smooth and harmonious palate.
• The finish is long, clean and refreshing. The fruit lingers beautifully alongside subtle pastry notes and a crisp mineral edge that leaves you ready for another sip.

Serve chilled between 8–10°C in a tulip-shaped Champagne glass to allow the aromas to develop fully. While wonderfully refreshing as an aperitif, Brut Royal's balance and structure mean it is equally capable of accompanying an entire meal. Drink within 3 years.
