Akemi Viura Rioja Blanco

The white wine has a very intense nose that's a little tropical, and the palate is soft, with moderate acidity, denoting a warm year. The pale, young and lively Akemi comes from the Viura grapes from the village of Quel, close to Alfaro, where the winery is located.

Akemi Viura Rioja Blanco is officially the perfect wine for sushi. Fresh tropical fruit are perfect with vanilla, coconut and toasty flavours.

The wine is very perfumed and fruity despite its five months in oak barrels. The wine was chosen by sushi master Félix Jiménez from the Kiro Sushi restaurant in Logroño. Bottling is with a Japanese label, it looks like a bottle of sake. The name Akemi means brightness and beauty; a beautiful dawn..
