Bollinger 007 James Bond Limited Edition Millesime 2011 Magnum

To mark the release of the movie No Time To Die. We present the 25th instalment of the James Bond series. Bollinger 007 James Bond limited edition Millesime 2011 magnum is an inspiration of the world of Bond. The decoration on the jet-black bottle is of the number “25”. Forming the titles of the previous films, which are similarly on the glass of the wooden box (if supplied).

  • Deep golden colour, demonstrating the wine's maturity
  • The vintage boasts a refined complexity on the nose, with hints of hazelnut, vanilla and citrus fruits
  • On the palate, the maturity of this champagne shines through. Remaining fresh and lively, with subtle flavours of plum and honey adding real character

The 2011 vintage, an atypical year, inspired Cellar Master to produce a unique champagne. Created entirely from pinot noir from the Grand Cru village of Ay. This is the first time that both the vintage and village have been used exclusively by Bollinger to make a dedicated wine. The excellent 2011 harvest in Aÿ, produced complex, powerful and harmonious pinot noirs, fully expressed in this characterful wine.

A chance meeting in 1978 between two fine wine lovers Christian Bizot, then Managing Director of Champagne Bollinger, and Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli, producer of 007, marked the start of a long-lasting friendship between two families that has never faded.

In 1979, Champagne Bollinger appeared on screen with the release of Moonraker, becoming the Official Champagne for the famous British secret agent. The partnership has evolved over the years and is now a recognisable part of the legacy of both brands. To this day the relationship between the two icons continues, under the guard of the current custodians Michael G. Wilson & Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions and the Bollinger family.
