Bowmore Whisky Old Fashioned Cocktail

It is said that this whisky cocktail recipe goes back as far as 1806 and is usually made with rye whisky? Why not swap it out for Bowmore Whisky and enjoy cocktail heaven.

Vessel: Rocks glass
Ice: Ice ball or cubed ice
Garnish: Orange peel

Ingredients:
50ml Bowmore 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
15ml sugar syrup or sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Method:
Stir down the Bowmore Single Malt, syrup and bitters in a mixing glass to desired dilution.
Strain over cubed ice or ice ball in a rocks glass and garnish with an orange zest.
