Villa Marcello Prosecco Millesimato Brut

This vintage prosecco comes from the Treviso DOC in Veneto, a region known for its crisp, expressive sparkling wines. The estate dates back to the 17th century and is now run by Giovanni Mazzei, part of a Tuscan winemaking dynasty with over 600 years of heritage. The vineyards sit just 25 metres above sea level, where silty clay soils and Adriatic breezes help the Glera grape reach full aromatic potential. A touch of Pinot Bianco adds further complexity. Fermentation is slow and cool, followed by lees ageing and a second fermentation in pressurised tanks. The result is a dry, elegant wine with fine bubbles and a clean finish. It’s a great match for seafood, cured meats and savoury cheeses, and works well as an aperitif or with lighter dishes.
