This legendary Spanish red is the flagship of Vega Sicilia, produced only in exceptional vintages. A blend of Tinto Fino and Cabernet Sauvignon, it undergoes one of the longest ageing processes in the world—nearly a decade in oak and bottle. The result is a wine of immense elegance, complexity, and longevity, ideal for pairing with refined dishes.
Vega Sicilia’s Unico is sourced from 40 hectares of the estate’s oldest vines in Ribera del Duero, grown across 19 distinct soil types. Fermentation takes place in oak vats with native yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels and large wooden vats before bottling.
