This red wine originates from the high-altitude vineyards of the Toro region in Spain. It comes from thirty-five-year-old Tinta de Toro vines rooted in stony and sandy soils. The estate is part of the legendary Vega Sicilia group, focusing on boldness and elegance.

Grapes are hand-harvested in small boxes to protect the fruit before fermentation in large oak vats. The wine ages for twelve months in new French and American oak barrels and clay amphorae. This specific ageing process reduces the impact of toast while preserving the natural freshness of the fruit.
