Tormaresca is the only producer in Puglia with vineyards in both Castel del Monte DOC (home of the Bocca di Lupo estate) and Salento (home of the Masseria Maime estate). They are leaders in the modern renaissance of winemaking in Puglia, combining classic techniques with the latest technological advances to create exceptional wines waiting to be discovered. All wines are made entirely using estate grown fruit.
Tormaresca Toricoda is a modern interpretation of the Primitivo grape, and the first Puglian wine to make it into the Wine Spectator Top 100 wines. This deep ruby wine has an abundance of maraschino cherry fruit flavours, with layers of liquorice and vanilla and a fresh finish more reminiscent of red berry fruit. The wine begins with a rich, soft mouthfeel but with its elegant tannins and acidity finishes with grace.
