This powerful red wine from Valpolicella Classica in Veneto is made using the appassimento method, where grapes are dried before fermentation to concentrate flavour and structure. It’s full-bodied, dry and layered with spice, dark fruit and cocoa, ideal for bold food pairings.
Tommasi is a historic family-run estate founded in 1902. Grapes are sourced from La Groletta and Conca d’Oro vineyards, known for limestone soils and optimal sun exposure. The wine is aged for three years in large Slavonian oak casks, adding depth and polish.
