The Wolftrap
This Syrah-led red blend is made in South Africa’s Western Cape, using fruit from Swartland vineyards. The grapes are grown on rugged, dry soils and fermented with minimal intervention. Aged lightly in oak, the red wine is crafted for bold flavour and smooth texture.
Produced by Boekenhoutskloof, one of South Africa’s most respected wineries, established in 1776. The blend includes Mourvèdre and Viognier, adding spice and lift. The name pays tribute to a historic wolf trap found on the estate, though no wolves were ever seen.
