Sebastiani is one of the longest-established wineries in California, USA. It was founded in 1904, and survived both Prohibition and the Great Depression to remain at the forefront of Sonoma County winemaking.
Californian native David Nakaji has been the winemaker since 2016, bringing his intimate knowledge of the region and how best to express it in the bottle, with clarity of fruit, generosity of structure and sensitive use of oak.
This red wine displays inviting aromas of raspberry preserves, blackberry, and sweet spice. Dark, brambly berry flavours lead on the palate with hints of white pepper, and spice. A fresher, more restrained style than most, with smooth, soft tannins that round out the palate for a beautiful, lingering finish.
