Captain Don Domingo de Cartavio, acquired the land where we now find Cartavio in the year 1675 and was responsible for giving this city its name. It is now the name associated with this delicious brand of Peruvian rums. Right through the meticulous selection of the initial ingredients, the patient ageing in the American, French and Slovenian oak casks, the consummate blending to then proceed to the sophisticated ageing Solera process, no detail is left to chance in the crafting of its artisan masterpiece.
