Ravensworth Orange Pinot Gris
This skin-contact Pinot Gris is grown in the Canberra District and Hilltops region of New South Wales. Ravensworth, founded in 2001 by Bryan Martin and family, is known for its adventurous winemaking and sustainable viticulture. Fruit is sourced from Freeman and Long Rail Gully vineyards, grown on decomposed granite soils.
Whole berries are fermented on skins for three weeks, then aged on lees for four months in oak puncheons and concrete eggs. The wine is unfined, unfiltered and made with minimal intervention, following organic principles. It is suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
