This South Australian red blend combines Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon in a style inspired by former Penfolds Chief Winemaker Max Schubert. Produced from vineyards across South Australia, the wine balances ripe fruit, structure and oak influence while reflecting the house’s long-standing blending expertise. Penfolds remains one of Australia’s most recognised and historically significant wine producers.

Maturation in French and American oak develops spice, texture and savoury depth without overpowering the fruit. Careful blending preserves the richness of Shiraz while Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure and dark berry intensity.
