Penfolds Magill Estate vineyard in Adelaide is one of the few single vineyards in the world located within city boundaries. The fruit is crushed, fermented and matured at the original Penfolds Magill Estate Winery, which was established in 1844.

Magill Estate Shiraz, first produced in 1983, is an elegant, medium weight wine with a velvety texture and fine tannins, matured in both French and American oak for 13 months.

Lively deep magenta in colour. Florals on the nose, think lavender and lilac, and alluring hints of baked goods. The palate is densely packed. Flavours of liquorice, cherry, and hazelnuts.

Pairs perfectly with slow roasted lamb, roasted vegetables, kale and fenugreek. For optimum enjoyment, this wine should be carefully decanted prior to serving. Drink now until 2035.
