Penderyn Icon Of Wales Copperopolis Whisky

The 12th release in Penderyn’s Icons of Wales series, Copperopolis pays tribute to Swansea’s historic role in the copper industry. From 1720 onwards, Swansea was responsible for smelting 50% of the world’s copper and 90% of the UK’s supply, earning its title as the heart of the copper trade.

Today, Penderyn’s new distillery stands within the historic Powerhouse of the old Copperworks, making this release a fitting homage to the city’s industrial past.

Matured in Sweet Red Wine Finish and bottled at 46%.
