A strikingly pure expression of a single heritage apple, The Power & The Glory is crafted from Broxwood Foxwhelp fruit harvested in 2024. Produced by Oliver's Cider and Perry and distilled by master distiller Shaun Ward at Ludlow Distillery. This small-batch eau de vie begins as a spontaneously wild-fermented cider. After a brief maturation, the dry cider is distilled in a column still to capture the vivid character of the Foxwhelp apple. The result is an expressive, orchard-true spirit with remarkable clarity, creamy texture and a long, gently warming finish.
