Named to honour Michter’s heritage harkening back to America's first whiskey company, founded in 1753. Michter’s Whiskeys consist of some of the finest single barrel and truly small batch whiskeys available. At the Michter’s distillery, they chill filter all of our whiskeys instead of using carbon filtration that can strip out flavor and aroma. Moreover, rather than use the one size fits all approach of many distillers, Michter’s use the different filtration mediums and techniques best suited to each of their individual whiskey offerings – despite it being time consuming and costly – to highlight each expression’s best qualities.
