Michter's is one of the most celebrated names in American whiskey, based in Louisville, Kentucky. This expression revives a style that was very popular through the 1970s and 1980s. It uses the traditional sour mash method, where part of an earlier ferment starts the next, much like sourdough. A unique grain recipe means it sits outside both bourbon and rye, bottled at a comfortable 43%.
