Marques De Riscal Reserva XR Special Release
This Rioja Reserva combines 91% Tempranillo with 9% Graciano, sourced from selected vineyards in Elciego, Rioja Alavesa. Aged for 24 months in American oak barrels, it develops concentrated ripe fruit, polished tannins and notes of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper. Presented in a gift box, it is an excellent choice for special dinners and gifting.
- Intense black-cherry red with deep colour and little sign of evolution.
- Expressive aromas of ripe black fruit, liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper, with subtle oak.
- Fresh and approachable, with concentrated fruit, good structure and smooth, polished tannins.
- Long and persistent, with gentle balsamic notes and lingering spice.
Serve with roast lamb, grilled red meat, poultry, mild cheeses or a hearty bean casserole.
