This structured red wine from Piedmont’s Barolo region is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown on hillside vineyards with clay-limestone soils. It’s full-bodied and dry, with firm tannins and layered spice. A classic Barolo with ageing potential and strong food-pairing versatility.
Marchesi di Barolo was founded in 1807 and is now run by the Abbona family. Grapes for this wine are sourced from top sites in Barolo, La Morra, Grinzane Cavour and Verduno. The wine is matured in large Slavonian oak casks to preserve varietal purity and enhance structure.
