Macallan Distil Your World Hong Kong Whisky

A bold new chapter in The Macallan’s Distil Your World series, the Hong Kong Edition is the fourth release and celebrates one of Asia’s most dynamic cities through whisky.

Created in collaboration with the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca and Macallan’s Lead Whisky Maker, Euan Kennedy, this expression distils Hong Kong’s contrasts - ancient tradition and pulsing modernity - into a single malt. Matured in a blend of sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads and American oak casks.

• On the nose, the Hong Kong Edition opens with rich and resinous notes of ginger, honey, and antique oak, balanced by lush tropical fruit like mango and pomelo, and delicate whispers of the iconic egg tart.
• The palate is viscous and mouth-coating, unfolding layers of sweet fruit, spiced ginger and cinnamon, with aged oak lending structure. Gentle hints of grapefruit and umami deepen the experience.
• The finish is long and elegant, with lingering antique oak and vibrant spices that echo Hong Kong’s culinary tapestry.
