Kingston Black is, in the view of James & Susanna, one of the few cider apples that can truly succeed as a single varietal cider. It has a natural balance of fruit, tannin, acid and sugars. This Pet-Nat, made with apples from Dragon Orchard, is one of the best Little Pomona ciders yet. Fermentation is spontaneous, with only a couple of rackings to aid clarification and encourage enough sweetness to balance the tannins and acidity.

• Vibrant gold in colour with a creamy sparkle
• Aromas of warm apple pie, vanilla, honey and a subtle hint of violets.
• On the palate, this cider is velvety plush, with moreish flavours of golden apples, caramelised peaches, baking spice and honey, balanced by a lively sparkle and acidity.

Pairs well with sticky ribs, blue cheese, or apple tart.
