This third annual, 2025 release was born from an unexpected twist in the distillery’s process. A fire in the kiln caused the peat to burn hotter and longer, intensifying the smoke during the drying of the barley. Rather than discard the results, Laphroaig leaned into the accident - bottling a whisky with deeper smoke, heightened medicinal character, and remarkable depth. Matured in a combination of American oak quarter casks, ex-bourbon barrels, and refill Oloroso sherry casks, Elements 3.0 is rich, smoky, and multi-dimensional.

• On the nose, expect powerful iodine, campfire smoke, seaweed, and dark fruit.
• The palate follows with charred oak, salted caramel, red berries, and earthy spice, all wrapped in a long, warming finish of ash, ginger, and maritime salinity.
