Langlois-Chateau is a superb producer from Saumur in the Loire Valley. They are now owned by the Champagne House, Bollinger. So, of course, their Wines are exceptional.
Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the grapes come from a selection of the best vineyard plots. This serious, complex Sancerre is handled only in stainless steel, to allow Langlois-Chateau to represent the fruit as closely as possible.
Pale straw in colour. An expressive nose, with ripe fruit aromas. Plenty of gooseberry and passion fruit on the palate, with a fresh, flinty acidity. Elegant and expressive. Highly recommended.
Perfect paired with shellfish, sushi, oysters or chicken. Delicious with asparagus, artichokes and salads.
